Biotechnological security

As an authorised testing centre, we test the following products in accordance with the equipment and product safety law:

  • Testing of microbiological safety workbenches with issuance of the GS mark
  • Testing of safety workbenches for cytostatics with issuance of the GS mark
  • dynamic-microbiological testing of centrifuges
  • Testing of laboratory fume hoods
  • safety appraisal of safety workbenches by the operator

For companies that have received a GS mark, we perform production site inspections at regular intervals. We provide new customers with pre-inspections to clear up any fundamental issues before the certification process starts.
We also hold seminars titled "Course for service technicians for microbiological safety workbenches and safety workbenches for cytostatics." The seminars have eight to ten participants, in order to engage each participant as intensively as possible and to convey theoretical and practical processes in an ideal way.
The seminar lasts four days, with the last day being a test day involving a practical test and a theoretical test. Participants who have successfully passed the test and annually provide the certificate proving that their measuring equipment is calibrated are put in a positive list.
