Certification of QM systems for rehabilitation clinics
Recognised certification body of the German statutory pension insurance scheme - DRV Bund -
All in-patient institutions for medical rehabilitation are required by law to prove that they operate a certified quality management system. As a certification body recognised by the German statutory pension insurance scheme (DRV), TÜV NORD CERT offers certification according to ,,QMS Reha®" - a tailormade process which fulfils both national legal requirements and international quality standards.
ISO 9001 plus additional requirements
The national legal requirements are described in § 20 Clause 2a of the Federal Social Code (Version IX) in the agreement regarding internal quality management of the Federal Rehabilitation Council (BAR). According to this, all institutions must present a certificate recognised by BAR within three years in order to continue to be recognised as suitable. A quality management system according to ISO 9001 is not sufficient for this - installation of a quality management system specific to rehabilitation is required.
Simplify processes, improve quality
TÜV NORD CERT - as an established certification body within the health service - helps institutions concerned with in-patient rehabilitation to fulfil all the necessary conditions in order to obtain the recognised certificate. In addition, the certification procedure contributes to simplification of processes and thereby the most efficient possible use of resources. In this way, quality can be achieved, secured over the long term, portrayed to the outside world and continually developed.
