Operation
Company officers
For many companies, adhering to the legal regulations relating to plant safety and environmental protection is time- and resource-consuming. To simplify internal implementation, operational officers must be appointed who are responsible for the competent implementation of the specialist legal requirements and for legal security.
The company officers maintain contact with the authorities and operate as professional and qualified contact partners. They receive regular training and pass their specialist knowledge on to the employees affected, bearing in mind the the operational circumstances.
In addition to the company officers to be appointed by law, it is also recommended, for example, to appoint a hazardous substances officer to guarantee the requirements of the hazardous substances ordinance through company organisation.
The consequences for your comapny are higher personnel costs and enormous amoutns of additioanl work, in order to guarantee that regulations are implemented in the day-to-day running of the comapny.
Yet the function of the company officer can also be assumed by somebody who does not belong to the company.
