Functional tests of automatic measurement systems for continuous emission measurement
Operators of large firing installations or systems for waste incineration or waste co-incineration have to observe European standards which helps standardise emission monitoring.
Starting at specified dimensions, automatic measurement systems (AMS) are used for continuous emission measurement. For quality assurance, the properties of automatic measurement systems are defined in the standards and a description provided of how they are installed, calibrated and maintained.
With the functional tests required once a year, we check the basic functions of the device and requirements using statistical specifications such as compliance with requirements for measurement inaccuracy and the validity of the calibration function We are a partner you can depend on when it comes to quality assurance and dealing with the public authorities.

What sets us apart?
We are a recognised measurement centre in accordance with §§ 26, 28 of the Federal Imission Control Act (BImSchG) in the areas of C (inorganic gases), F (dust) and L (organic-chemical compounds) for Groups II, III and IV (inspection of the installation and the function as well as the calibration of emission measurement systems in continuous operation).
Even when overall conditions are difficult, we find suitable solutions for selecting a representative measuring process. We have special knowledge about plant engineering that stems from our many years working in this area. Flexible scheduling makes it possible to carry out inspections and functional tests at the same time.
