Hygiene inspection of ventilation systems
Ventilation systems (air-conditioning systems) have to be operated in such a way that the room temperature is comfortable for the users and that these systems do not pose any health risks, adversely affect well-being or produce odours.
The VDI guideline 6022 "Hygienic requirements for ventilation and air-conditioning systems" describes the current technology available to achieve this goal. It applies to all ventilation and air-conditioning systems in offices, meeting rooms, schools, indoor swimming pools, administrative buildings and production sites. In line with this VDI, hygiene inspections are to be carried out every 2 to 3 years depending on the system type. If systems with spray or evaporation humidifiers are in operation, the humidifier water has to be inspected by personnel trained in hygiene.

Which services do we offer?
- We independently assess and inspect your air-conditioning systems through hygiene inspections in accordance with VDI 6022. Samples are taken in the form of contact, swab or wipe samples for microbial contamination and dust.
- We take and test water samples for microbial contamination.
- We create a certificate with a detailed analysis and evaluation of the current status.
- We come up with solution proposals and create a list of measures to remove the contamination if necessary.
