Waste – best avoided or recycled
Waste must be primarily avoided according to the Closed Substance Cycle and Waste Management Act and secondarily, it must be recycled or used to produce energy. There is also a series of associated obligations, such as the internal recycling of materials, the low-waste product design, or the adjustment of the consumer behaviour with regard to low-waste and low-pollution products, and recycling management.
For recycling, the most environmentally compatible type of recycling has priority. Energy recycling has conditions attached. Operators of systems subject to licensing, systems in which hazardous waste often occurs and operators of systems which deal with waste must appoint waste representatives.

Which services do we offer?
- We check your current waste and hazardous substance situation (actual analysis) with weak spots analysis. Then we also review the means of disposal for their cost-saving potential.
- We produce construction reports for demolition or partial demolitions.
- We sample and examine waste (e.g. constuction waste, slag, ground) with regard to the most effective way to recycle them.
- We inspect waste.
- We provide external company officers for waste and assume the duties of the company officer for waste in accordance with § 55 Krw-/AbfG:
- Help with implementing regulations on refuse law in operational practice.
- Company-specific training and instruction of personnel on site.

Which standards and statutory regulations form the basis of our work?
The legal basis in the area of waste management is the law for promoting recycling management and ensuring the environmentally compatible removal of waste (recycling management and waste law - KrW-/AbfG).
In addition, industrial waste and packaging ordinances shall apply.
