Acute intervention and emergency psychology
That won't happen to me! And if it does… ?
Dangerous events, such as severe accidents or robberies are situations that often involve serious psychological consequences for the victim. In such cases, acute intervention helps prevent the quality of life as well as the working capability of the people involved from being adversely affected over the long-term. Psychological care is paramount in helping people more effectively process traumatic events and return their everyday life to the way it once was.
Prompt help is available
NORD-KURS has developed an assistance programme together with the professional associations, accident insurers, banks, and other companies.
We offer people, who are considered to be victims according to labour law – in this respect, a robbery is also an "accident" – psychological qualified care in order to prevent chronic suffering, e.g. a "posttraumatic stress disorder" (PTSD), by providing help as early as possible.
Oftentimes, it only takes a few sessions with experienced experts to help the victim better understand his or her own reactions, to activate personal coping capabilities, and to more effectively overcome the arising negative consequences.
Take advantage of our assistance services
In particular, employees who are insured through their employer with the employer's liability and insurance association for the retail industry or with the employer's liability and insurance association for the railway, metropolitan railway and tramway sector can take advantage of our services. Of course, you can also benefit from our services if you are not insured by one of these two partners. Just contact us.
For accident and robbery victims, it is extremely important that they receive professional counsel after the traumatic event as quickly as possible: A team of over 80 qualified psychologists of NORD-KURS makes sure that this happens. And that virtually throughout all of Germany.
