The TÜV NORD Group has two companies in the Republic of Korea.
TÜV NORD Korea Ltd. was founded in 1996 and provides well-founded technical knowledge in all areas concerning the certification of systems and products. This includes but not limited to certifications according to national and international management systems, technical evaluation and testing of products, machinery and automotive components.
INCOK (Inspection Company of Korea) was founded back in 1964 and is one of the largest independent Industrial Inspection Service organizations in Korea. The company has 170 employees and four locations (Changwon, Ulsan, Pohang and Kwangyang) in Korea as well as an office in Japan. INCOK is a recognized expert organization in inspection, monitoring and certifying integrated steel mill plants, oil & gas plants, energy generation and environmental protection. Core services are SQS (Supplier Quality Surveillance), expediting, plant audit/survey, engineering review and structure analysis. INCOK is also providing authorized inspection services and material approval to the European Directive for Pressure Equipment (PED 97/23/EC).
