TÜV Middle East
TÜV Middle East was founded as early as 1984. The initial main task was the inspection of power plants and water desalination plants. Over the course of time, the industrial services have been supplemented by offerings dealing with everything to do with management auditing and certification.
Subsequently, the TÜV Academy offers further education programmes, such as foodstuff monitoring and health protection as well as environmental protection services.
Today, TÜV Middle East is the leading competence centre for inspections and one of the largest full-service providers for the foodstuff industry. The services include implementing management systems, auditing and certification, employee training, and foodstuff monitoring.
The office in Abu Dhabi coordinates the activities of the TÜV NORD Group in the Middle East for the following countries: Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.
