Checklist for applying for a driver card:
The following documents are required for ordering a driver card:
- An EU card driving license in one of the following classes: B, BE, C, CE, C1, C1E, D, DE, D1E
- Proof of residency in the Federal Republic of Germany (valid ID card or residency document)
- ID card/passport or, in the case of foreigners, a comparable ID document
- Recent photograph (against light background, semi-profile without head covering, size: 35 mm x 45 mm)
The driver card is valid for five years and should be reapplied for prior to expiration in due time. This is possible no sooner than six months before expiry and no later than 15 days before expiry. You must apply for a replacement card in the event of loss, theft or technical defect. Please contact us for further details in these cases.

You can fill out and print page 1 directly on your PC and TÜV NORD Mobility fills out page 2 for you. The easiest way to apply for a driver card is to personally submit your application at one of our TÜV STATIONS in Saxony Anhalt or at a TÜV expert at a TÜV partner company Saxony Anhalt to facilitate the prescribed identification process. If you prefer to place your order by post, we require identification upon issue of the driver card. The application documents cannot be to sent us electronically, since scanned passport photographs may not be accepted.

Checklist for applying for a company card:
The following documents are required for ordering a company card:
- Proof of commercial registration, e.g. excerpt from the register of companies
- Proof of the name of the owner, if appropriate power of attorney, e.g. by means of excerpt from the commercial register
The company card is valid for five years and should be reapplied for prior to expiration in due time. This is possible no sooner than six months before expiry and no later than 15 days before expiry. You can apply for a replacement card in the event of loss, theft or technical defect.

Please submit the completed application at one of our TÜV-STATIONS in Saxony Anhalt, submit it to one of our TÜV experts in a TÜV NORD partner company in Saxony Anhalt, or send it to us by mail.
We will then carry out all further steps to ensure you are issued with, or sent by post, the finished card as soon as possible.

Checklist for applying for a workshop card:
The following company and technician documents are required for ordering a workshop card:
1. Company documents:
- Excerpt from the commercial or professional register/guild register
- Excerpt from the register of companies
- Recognition of the company in accordance with § 57b StVZO
2. From the technician:
- Copy of ID card
- Proof of employment at the company
- Criminal Records Bureau check/certificate of good conduct
- Valid training certificate according to § 57b of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations
The workshop card is valid for one year and should be reapplied for prior to expiry. This is possible no sooner than one month before expiry. You must apply for a replacement card in the event of loss, theft or technical defect. Please contact us for further details in these cases.
