Electrics and FSF
Numerous errors in electrical equipment for rolling stock often arise in the planning phase and persist in the design all the way to production. The spectrum of these systems ranges from low voltage to high voltage, includes protected and open wiring, and also embraces special issues such as freedom from interference and explosion protection.
TÜV NORD offers consulting and inspection in all phases of the development and implementation of wiring diagrams, including compliance with FSF guidelines in the circuit diagram and the wiring. We also offer quality assurance measures, such as the screening of wiring diagrams including the assessment of functional safety, compliance with electrical protection measures, and feasibility.
We offer special advisory and inspection services, particularly with battery boxes (explosion protection) and electrical protection (VDE 0100, Part 410).
