Holiday tips
Close by, yet far enough away: holidays at the Fleesensee.
Get away from it all: the holiday paradise of the Fleesensee lake lies in the middle of the Mecklenburg lakes. Let your feet dangle in the water, and your gaze wander over the mirror-like surface of the water - with an eagle circling above you. You have arrived.
The Fleesensee lake is a part of the natural paradise created in the last ice age, consisting of lakes, marshy forests and moorland, where beavers, otters, cranes and kingfishers abound. And if you still want to enjoy some comfort while being close to nature, why not stay at the new "Land Fleesensee" resort? There you have choice between the family-friendly "Dorfhotel", the elegant Iberotel or the exclusive Radisson SAS Resort, located in a fairytale castle. Or would you rather enjoy a luxurious stay at the first Robinson Club in Germany?

How to get there
Ignore the building sites and the traffic jams round Hamburg, drive onto the B191 and then onto the A24 via Uelzen (motorway entry: Neustadt-Glewe).
