TÜV NORD provides you with support when drafting safety and risk analyses and when applying and creating a safety management system. Our interdisciplinary teams, comprising engineers and occupational and organisational psychologists with extensive experience, will support you in all phases of the implementation.
Safety analyses are designed to determine risks taking the type of business and the maintenance and environment conditions into account. The require Safety Integrity Level (SIL) is determined on the basis of the risk frequencies, the consequences of damage and the risk acceptance. If necessary, risk reduction measures can be defined on the basis of these and the effectiveness of the measures checked.
Generally, the analysis is carried out using such methods as HAZOP, FME(C)A, FTA, ETA, MARKOV and CCF analyses.
