"Tyres" saving factor
This is how petrol costs go to the dogs
Here, the price of energy is flat: Simply increase the air pressure and you will reduce your fuel consumption. With the right smooth-running tyres, you can save up to 5 percent more. Go ahead and save.
Air costs nothing, but saves money.
More air for the tyres: You should always have the tyre pressure that your vehicle manufacturer recommends for a full load. This way, you will reduce the rolling resistance of your tyres and reduce your fuel consumption by up to 5 percent.
You will find the tyre pressure recommended by your manufacturer on the inside of the fuel filler flap, or inside the driver's door. If you cannot find it, look in your operator's manual or on the lists posted at petrol stations.
Just by the way: Your vehicle also uses more fuel if you drive with bald tyres or wide-base tyres.
Save with smooth-running tyres
The narrow foot for your car: Smooth-running tyres have up to 20 percent less rolling resistance than conventional models. The result: Less driving noise, lower fuel consumption, more money in your wallet. According to investigations by the Federal Environment Agency, fuel consumption is reduced by up to 5 percent.
